"If you're green you're growing. If you're ripe, you're rotten!" Pat Parelli
Wanting to achieve a high level of communication with your horse is always desirable, since they do not operate like machines. They do not come to us with a manual on how to keep them happy, we just do what we think makes them happy. What if you were to discover if your horse was truly happy? If they could be able to communicate to you a feeling of contentment and understanding, would you want to know how to interpret this message?
Holly & BaronIt is our duty as horse "owners" to treat them with respect and compassion. They are sentient beings who put every ounce of trust in us, as we are really predators to them. We owe them a great deal of gratitude for accepting us as we are, full of faults. We strive to speak to them in a language that is most often foreign and then are upset with them when they do not understand us. For the sake of the horse, this cycle must stop.
Luckily, many trainers and programs are available to better walk us through this process. John Lyons, Pat Parelli, Clinton Anderson and Craig Cameron are just a few who have risen to the top of the pack to better teach this language to the masses. If you have dabbled in any of these programs you would know that it is all about the relationship with your horse, nothing else. When you put this first, you discover a better way of being with your horse - one that will last a lifetime.
BaronBecause large programs like this are sometimes unattainable or unaffordable to most people, Growing Green Farms has put together a package that is suited for people and horses beginning to explore this method. Our pricing is much lower than traditional trainers and our proof is in the pudding. Trainer, Holly Williams hasn't met a horse yet she couldn't "fix" - or better yet a human she couldn't teach!
We encourage you to explore our site to see if Natural Horsemanship is right for you, we already know it is right for your horse.
